A bold, large-scale orchid composition by Christian Peltenburg-Brechneff, known for creating immersive works that bring viewers into a lush world of flowers, plants, and color.
Born in the former Belgian Congo (now the DRC) and trained in the U.S., Switzerland, and England, he earned a Master of Art degree from the Royal College of Art in London and has received numerous awards, including the Swiss Federal Government Scholarship.
Peltenburg-Brechneff has exhibited internationally and his work is held in major public and private collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Greece, the Orange County Museum of Art (Newport Beach), and the Florence Griswold Museum.
