Classical Marble Head on Marble Base

A beautifully carved marble head in the classical Greco-Roman tradition, depicting a serene female face with wavy, center-parted hair beneath an ornate leaf-carved diadem, and long ringlets falling along the shoulders. The warm, aged patina of the stone gives it wonderful depth and age, evocative of ancient statuary. Mounted on a slender bronze rod atop a substantial dark marble plinth base.
